Wunmi Mosaku is a British actress born on July 31, 1986, in Nigeria. She grew up in Manchester, UK, and studied at Trinity College in London. Mosaku began her acting career on stage before moving to television and film.
She is best known for her roles in the television series "Luther", "Dancing on the Edge", and "Vera", as well as the films "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" and "Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them".
In 2017, Mosaku won a BAFTA Award for Best Supporting Actress for her role in the BBC drama "Damilola, Our Loved Boy". She has also been nominated for a Primetime Emmy Award for her work in the HBO series "Lovecraft Country".
Mosaku is an advocate for mental health awareness and has spoken publicly about her own struggles with anxiety and depression. She is married and has one son.
